Is there value in booking your destination wedding with a GI Wedding Consultant or  Sandals Platinum Agency?

To the general public, it probably stands to reason that booking your wedding directly through the source, say Karisma Resorts or Sandals Resorts, would give you the best deal, best service, best pool of knowledge. Right?  But in fact, your GI Wedding Consultant or a Sandals Platinum Agency are better equipt to help you book the best property and the best destination for YOUR wedding.  We are not “married” to any specific supliers.  We exist and stay in business because we are unbiased, and make recommendations based on what the bridal couple is looking for, on what is right for you.

Often a better financial opportunity through us?  How?   With the middle person eliminated why would you not get the absolute best price?   Whentalking with a single source like the hotel direct, tthe depth of knowledge is limited to what that single source can offer and knows.    Travel professionals work with multiple airlines, we look for group pricing.  We are not just one tour operator like Funjet Vacations or Delta Vacations or Apple Vacations.  Typically we compare a minimum of 4 tour operators.  We shop them all, knowing who has what promotion available, and which promotion is the best or your wedding or your wedding group.

We are the best pool of knowledge.  What knowledge?  You want a swim out oceanfront room, and your sister is bringing her 5 and 7 year old to the wedding.  With that criteria in mind, what are the best resorts?   We make recommendations based on the resort that fits your needs overall, not just the resorts within a brand.

Best service.  Now how is that possible?  Wouldn’t your one contact within the resort, know who to contact for what within their organization?  Most likely the answer is yes, but from our experience, when issues arise they are a multi faceted concern, making it necessary to approach the problem from more than one angle.

Do I know what I am proofing the documents for?  Do I want to be responsible that all my guests understand:  travel insurance, minors traveling with only 1 natural parent,  what exactly is it that makes a passport valid for international travel,  communicating flight changes, dealing with “misconnects” and misspellings just to name a few?  b.)  Do I want to and will I have time to deal with the inevitable calls that will follow once those documents are opened by my guests?
2)      You booked your Karisma wedding through a GI Wedding Consultant.  You open your documents when they arrive in the mail, call your consultant to ask any questions you might have about your trip, luggage, airline check in, resort transfer, or whatever might be on your mind.
