….. is the resort you have been waiting for….IF….you want fantastic pricing, a 5* resort, 24 hour room service every category, gourmet dining, swim up/out rooms, and a jacuzzi on your balcony.  New name on this resort is Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana, and the new name means great pricing for you.   Secrets Royal Beach is a great opportunity to get so much more for your money!

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to stay at Secrets Royal Beach when it was the NH Royal Beach.  I was amazed at the beach, the dining, the wandering lazy rivers, and how easy it was to get to the resort from the friendly open air airport.  I love the dining on the water, and was happy to see several seaside options at Secrets Royal Beach, nothing better than a burger with your toes in the sand and a glass of champagne, while lounging in the shade of a towering palm.  If you are a sun worshiper, you will love the “sunning decks” that dot the beach area as well.

If you are asking your self these questions:  
1.  Why does this resort offer such a great price?  
2.  Isn’t service compromised at such a great rate?

…..When a resort launches it has no repeat clientele to fall back on.  Meaning all guests  have to be “courted” to try out the “new” resort and often times part of the process is great rates.  Once the resort has made it’s mark, the introductory rates are fazed out, and real pricing begins to appear as the property begins to fill.

Yes, if there is new staff to train their might be some service issues, and yes, if the resort is brand new, the grounds won’t have that “mature” look, but from my experience the compromise is minimal when you compare the value.

Some small things that I really liked about Secrets Royal Beach, the balconies.  Instead of your view being obstructed by the actual railing material, at Secrets Royal Beach, the material is clear, so nothing blocks your view of that beautiful beach, pool or garden.   The swim out/swim up rooms put the lazy river just steps from your patio where of course you can relax, enjoying your morning croissants and juice delivered via the descrete room service box.  What could be better…..oh, how about bowling?

NOW Larimar is the family version of Secrets Royal Beach, located right next door.  This property also has that great introductory pricing, and a bowling alley!  If you are staying at Secrets Royal Beach you have full exchange priveledges with the NOW Larimar so feel free…to knock off a couple pins while you are in Punta Cana.
